Hi, I’m Sam! As I’m sure you’ve already worked out, I’m a wedding photographer based in Leicestershire, UK.
Firstly, thanks so much for stopping by! So, you're going to read lots of stories from lots of photographers about how "Shooting weddings has been their calling since they were a baby" and how they were "carrying a camera ever since they could walk".
Truth is, none of that applies to myself.
Ayrton Senna once said “If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver.” I know—it’s about racing, not weddings—but that idea of going for it, being present, and embracing the moment really speaks to how I work. Weddings are full of fleeting, beautiful moments, and my job is to catch them before they pass. Whether it's a quiet glance, a loud laugh, or a dance floor in full swing—I’m there, camera in hand, ready to tell the story as it naturally unfolds.
