I'm a UK-based freelance photographer with over five years of experience capturing high-speed action, authentic moments, and creative visuals—whether trackside at motorsport events, behind the scenes on film, commercial and music sets, or crafting polished imagery in the studio.

MY PHILOSOPHY

“If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver”

— Aryton Senna, 1990

Ayrton Senna once said, “If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver.” I’ve always connected with that mindset—in life and in my work. It reflects my drive to seize every opportunity, push creative boundaries, and stay fearless in fast-paced, high-pressure environments—whether I’m trackside, on set, or in the studio.

My Specialties

  • I create still images that capture the essential moments, characters, and visual tone of a production. Working with discretion and an understanding of on-set workflow, we document scenes without interrupting the pace of the shoot. My focus is on delivering clean, reliable assets suitable for marketing, press, continuity, and behind-the-scenes documentation.

  • My approach to BTS and documentary work is observational and unobtrusive, allowing the natural atmosphere of the project to come through. I capture the people, processes, and interactions that define the production, providing images that tell the story behind the work. This coverage is designed to support promotional use, social content, and stakeholder communications.

  • I produce studio and location-based imagery for brands, businesses, and organisations. Whether the brief calls for clean product photography, team portraits, or campaign-driven visuals, I focus on consistency, clarity, and technical accuracy. My workflow is structured to suit fast turnaround times and collaborative art direction when required.

  • My editorial sports and action photography is grounded in timing, anticipation, and understanding the dynamics of competitive environments. I capture decisive moments, athlete expression, and the broader context that gives each event its energy. The result is dynamic imagery suitable for editorial publications, press, and promotional use.

I provide photography across a range of fast-moving and production-focused environments. Whether working on set, trackside, or in commercial settings, my aim is to deliver clear, purposeful imagery that supports each project’s narrative and practical needs.

THE FAQs

Do you travel for projects?

Yes. I’m available for work across the UK and internationally. Travel requirements, expenses, and scheduling can be discussed during the initial enquiry to ensure everything is planned efficiently.

How do you work on film sets or in sensitive environments?

I take a low-impact, unobtrusive approach, working around the existing production flow without interrupting cast or crew. Awareness, timing, and communication are key to ensuring I capture the required material while respecting the environment.

Can you work independently, or do you require direction?

I’m comfortable working fully independently—anticipating moments, reading the environment, and delivering what’s needed without constant oversight. I’m also experienced collaborating with directors, producers, and marketing teams when specific shot lists or visual requirements are involved.

What equipment do you use?

I use the fast and reliable full-frame Canon camera system, suited to low-light, high-speed, and production environments along with a full compliment of professional grade lenses. When working on projects needing artificial lighting, I use professional PixaPro lights for on-camera and studio lighting.

Do you offer video services?

My primary focus is stills photography. However, I can collaborate with videographers or recommend trusted partners if your project requires both.

What is your turnaround time for delivering images?

Turnaround varies depending on the scope of the job. For most assignments, a preview selection can be delivered within 24–48 hours, with full delivery typically completed within an agreed timeframe. Faster turnarounds can be arranged if required. Images are delivered via an online gallery or secure file transfer, depending on client preference. File formats, sizing, and colour treatments can be tailored for press use, social media, print, or internal documentation.
